This was the only place on the block that wasn't packed to the gills on a Friday night, so my husband and I decided to stop in.
We had Moscow Mules to start, which were very ginger-y. I dug it, but my husband switched to beer after. The waiter recommended the tortilla, saying that people came specifically to eat the tortilla there. He was right - full of carmelized onions, it was the best tortilla I've had in the nearly 4 weeks I've spent there.
The vibe of the place was really cozy. It was a great place for my husband and I to hole up and have a few drinks. I would definitely return.
The best tortilla in Madrid - runny and with caramelized onions, massive serving for less than €4. Cozy, Irish pub atmosphere, nicely decorated and comfy sofas to relax on. One of my favorite places in Madrid, especially in winter when it's cozy atmosphere warms you up.
No aceptan Amex.
Repetiría en otra ocasión.
