I live in La Cala, so I usually visit The Deli for a breakfast (Eggs Benedict) or a lunch. This place is absolutely a treasure if you are fresh and homemade meals lover. The homemade quiches are unbeatable with different fillings, like pumpkin and goat cheese combo, quiche lorraine. You can choose sliced fresh meats (roast beef), chorizos, hams, homemade coleslaw or humus. Tasty baguettes, sandwiches, salads! Lovely carrot cake, apple and caramel fudge cake, crumpet with tea or coffee, but cheeseboard is available too! At the end you can gift yourself with a jar of chutney, mine is plum and apple flavour! Lovely place with friendly staff and chef!
The Deli is a perfect ‘fit’ for La Cala ... trendy, friendly and serving stunning home-cooked and cured gammon, succulent roast beef and without doubt the best pies on the Costa del Sol. We especially recommend the Philly Steak Sandwich with delicious, tender beef, the ‘Deli’ chili sauce to takeaway, the home-made fruit pickle and the superb chicken and leek and steak and wild mushroom pies! Not forgetting the home cured gammon and Swiss cheese croissant for breakfast. We also ordered a fig marinated ham for Christmas .. can’t wait to sample that little beauty.
In the highly competitive restaurant business on the Costa del Sol, the Deli stands head and shoulders above the rest in La Cala by offering great service and delicious, unpretentious food.
‘In the cafe/restaurant trade it doesn’t matter what you do but do it well.’ The Deli certainly does that!

Delicious food!! And friendly welcoming service. Tried a few lunch time wraps/baguettes and all lovely but went for dinner menu tonight and had the brisket burger with sweet potato fries and this was literally to die for...so tasty!! Will defo be a regular here cheers Craig 👍
