In English: The original plan was to eat at El Tigre right down the street, but upon arriving at the establishment, we were turned off by the massive crowd inside. Inside, we opt for El Casco Viejo. It was still crowded, just not as much. We ordered meatballs, beef tripe, Chorizo, Spanish ham, anchovies in vinegar, tortilla, and garlic prawns. When I was naming the items, the waitress had a surprised face by the fifth item. I should have known that this was an indicator that we order too much food! The four of us were beyond stuffed and we had leftovers that unfortunately we could not take home. Everything was very good, but some items were salty for my taste (although other foods in Spain were way more salty than this place). We had four sangrias and 3 beers to wash it all down. This is more of a bar than a sit-down restaurant, but the food is still delicious. It was our first experience at a tapas bar in Spain, and we were satisfied. We were so full that after walking 15 minutes back to the hotel, we walked up the stairs to our room on the seventh floor. En Espanol: Comimos albondigas, tripa, chorizo, jamon Espanol, boquerones, tortilla, y gambas al ajillo. Teníamos mucha comida para cuatro gentes! Se bebían cuatro sangrías y tres cervezas. Todo fue muy delicioso, pero algunos eran demasiado salada.

This is my second time here. This is a great place to have authentic tapas. Delicious food. Very fast service. The place is very small, so you might have to sit at the bar. Food is very fresh and authentic. Great location I. The middle of everything but doesn't feel so touristy.
